Pipe notching in series: Pipe notching module GIR

Fast and exact: the pipe notching module GIR is optimally tuned to industrial applications. The high abrasion performance guarantees economic operation - and with 150 mm belt width the GIR is also suited for workpieces with greater diameters.

Its robust construction had been developed especially for use in industrial environments, continuous use is no problem for the GIR module. Just as the processing on thick-walled materials or solids: The great power output of the motors ensure economical grinding of pipes.

A special feature is the heavy-duty vice. Its rapid clamping system makes it possible to exchange the workpiece quickly and rationally. Contact corrosion on stainless steel workpieces is prevented by the supplied stainless steel clamping jaws. For effective suction the adaptor (part no. 6 99 02 182 00 0) is necessary.

So that everything really fits during mitre grinding, GRIT has developed a special mitre grinding plate. Its simple attachment while retaining the belt length makes it unique in the market. The mitre grinding plate, for which patent has been applied for, is available as an option for the GIR module. Maximum pipe diameter:
