The compact 500 Watt high-performance motor with its unusually large copper content ensures excellent torque, even in the lowest speed range. An integrated spindle lock and the single-collar, fast-acting 3-jaw chuck allow quick and convenient one-handed tool changes. The extremely robust metal gear housing ensures secure positioning of the bearings and optimal concentricity of the drill shaft, guaranteeing highly accurate drilling when using both inline and pistol grips. The ergonomic shape of the pistol grip permits fatigue-free work for both left and right handed users. The two-fi nger trigger with electronic start allows the speed of the drill to be perfectly matched to the particular job and the drill is always under control. In addition, the 16 ft (5 m) industrial cable provides excellent freedom of movement. FEIN power drills display their complete capabilities from the fi rst use onward – and impress with lasting high load capacity, optimal handling, and unmatched service life.

Coil and armature are completely enclosed by the motor housing. The resulting resistance to twisting provides safe, quiet, and vibration-free operation – even in tough continuous use or under extreme shock and impact loading.
